The Challenge at Manele
High above the rolling surf that crashes
into the cliffs of Hulopo'e Bay, the magnificent Challenge at Manele
beckons golfers from around the world. With its dramatic terrain of
plunging gorges and verdant ravines, The Challenge offers a thrilling
target-style game amid miles of unspoiled natural surroundings. Every hole
offers sweeping ocean views, and several require precision shots from cliff
to cliff – using the Pacific itself as a water hazard. Designed by the
legendary Jack Nicklaus, The Challenge is a course you will rightly
anticipate, and will celebrate long after your round has ended.

Attire:
Standard golf attire for men and ladies. Collared shirts, slacks (no
jeans), shorts (not over 1" above knee), golf shoes with plastic
spikes.
Features:
The course features 3 holes constructed on the cliffs of Hulopo'e Bay which
use the Pacific Ocean as a dramatic water hazard. The five-tee concept
challenges even the best golfers with precise tee shots over natural gorges
and ravines, while the average golfer will enjoy the beautiful vistas
without suffering limitations on distance and accuracy. The Par 3, Number
12 "signature hole" plays from a cliff 150 feet above the
crashing surf, requiring a demanding 200-yard tee shot across the ocean.
